What is AA vs KK preflop?
Heads-up preflop, AA is about 81% and KK about 18%, with roughly 1% ties. Enter both hands in the odds calculator to verify.
Why is AA vs random not always ~85%?
About 85% is AA versus an unknown opponent: leave Opponent Hand empty and the calculator averages every remaining two-card combo. The AA vs random preset deals two specific cards, so the number changes each click — AA vs 72o is about 88%, AA vs KK about 81%.
How many outs does a flush draw have?
A flop flush draw is usually 9 outs, about 35% to the river. An open-ended straight is 8 outs (~31.5%); a gutshot is 4 outs (~16.5%).
